6. many scientists depend on government funding - ie taxes
including myself. So if we want jobs we better have a government who believes in investing in research, development and education

11. So people who examine/evaluate evidence & then come to logical conclusions...
Are more likely to be liberal than conservative? Who could have imagined such a statistic?

12. Scientists makes judgements based on evidence, not on "feelings"

That's why they see that reality has a "liberal bias".

18. Since "conservative" today equals "anti-science", I am not
surprised. Anti-evolution, anti-climate change, pro-creation, human superiority---all "conservative" thinking. Makes me wonder about that 9% and who they are.

Let's get the 9% together and sacrifice a virgin to the volcano.

19. This should be a story
I have heard of studies like this before which make it very clear that there are few conservatives in positions which require real intellectual prowess. I wonder how many of these have to come out for people to realize that this country is being run by dumb-asses who are not the people who are making this country great and making technological and academic breakthroughs.

Its always so strange because I go to school and no one is a conservative, there are no republicans and for example in my international relations class we make fun of the right on a daily basis.
