Teacare: The Tea Party's alternative plan for health care reform
Put the insurance company, the hospital, the morgue, and the collection agency all in the same building.

The collection agency will "kindly pressure" you to pay for the morgue bills of your dead relative, they will also do the same for the hospital that your relative went to, all because the insurance company cleared your relative's treatment just a little bit too late, oh, and you also need to make one last payment to the insurance company for your relative, because he/she can't. Don't want to be a heartless deadbeat and deny the greatest health care system in the world their dues, right?

This plan really should save someone some money.

1. And no need for those pesky Death Panels
There's no pulling the plug on ole Grandma, since she didn't quite qualify for a having plug in the first place. And the hideous liberal Death Panels? Well just forget them. The DP's would be a tragic waste of good corporate money, since you're on track to die anyway and wouldn't need help from faceless murderous gov't bureaucrats.

2. This is not to do with health care but my mother's apartment
complex made us pay a month's rent for her apartment after she passed away. She passed away the 20th of one month and we cleaned out her apartment etc. They sent a bill and said she owed for the upcoming month because we did not notify them 30 days in advance she was going to vacate. Even tho we didn't know she would die of a heart attack the complex made us pay because we didn't anticipate it.

3. So it now reads: Death, Taxes, and..
First & last month's rent? That shenanigan on the part of your mother's complex was at minimum worthy of a less-than-complimentary letter to the editor, lest others be unaware that a firm date for a tenant's "checkout" be set in advance.
