Is O'Donnell establishing an Angle strategy of dealing with the media?
Edited on Sat Sep-18-10 01:59 PM by Ozymanithrax
After it is revealed that she said she used to practice witchcraft, she canceled her Sunday Show appearances. Perhaps she was afraid someone would ask her if she used to dance naked under the moon. Perhaps, she realizes that Sharron Angle's strategy of talking to know one might be the best. After all, if no one asks her questions she will not be embarrassed by the answers. So rather than Palin as her mentor it will be Angle.

3. Angel (sorry) has a policy of not talking to the media.
It appears O'Donnell has take that strategy, though perhaps too late to remove her foot from her mouth.

2. Angle learned it from Palin.

And Jan Brewer in AZ is doing almost the same. She's the sitting (and accidental) governor so can't completely avoid the media.

4. Candidates who can't stand scrutiny...
...have to generate their own media buzz to make up for the face time they're declining.

5. I do not think that her unwillingness to face the Media...
...and the Electorate is a "strategy."

My thoughts are, it's cowardice, based on a privately self-acknowledged lack of real public policy positions beyond her personal Dominionist religious fanaticism and Teabagger falsehoods and hypocrisies, which she (or her advisers) realize only plays to the far-right lunatic fringe.

IMO, if she stands even a remote chance of winning in the GE, she must now distance herself from her original base of support, the mentally-ill/homophobic/racist/sexist/jeezus-freaks within the "Teabagger Party."
