Woman.
That'll REALLY send the teabaggerati over the edge.
Let's see them try to "take their country back" from THAT kind of change.

Whose parents immigrated here.
I love your term 'teabaggerati'. I hope it sticks.

One parent multi-generational and the the other first generation.
A panoply of the American experience.

4. I know diversity should be the general rule, |
|
however, I just want the best person for the job. If that person should be a man or woman of any ethnicity or religion, I applaud it but we shouldn't over look any traditional white males who would be best for the job too.

10. The problem is that there aren't a lot of politically viable Latina women in the limelight now |
|
Other than Hilda Solis, who else is out there?
I'm not even going to suggest Loretta Sanchez, because she's a notorious Blue Dog.

But, thinking this thing over only reinforces the fact that we need more Latinas to get involved in big time Democratic politics

Lots of people on this board forget that the president is a serious matter. The person picked has to run the country in a contentious country and world. The candidate has to be chosen for his/her abilities. It is about way more than "sticking" it to the teabaggers or the republican party.

if he/she/it is a purple three-armed, two-headed beetle faced dodecahedron as long as we get some policies that help out the poor and are good for the ecosystems.
The last two administrations were wrapped in the mantle of diversity and from where I sit I see a lot of conformity and allegiance to the corporations.
