Hoff said it would likely be up to Coons to decide if he wants President Obama to campaign for him or if he wants to distance himself. A poll by the conservative-leaning Rasmussen Reports conducted Wednesday found 57 percent of Delawareans approve of the president's job performance.

And that poll came from (R)asmussen.

1. Was there word that Coons might distance himself?
Didn't Biden talk about campaigning for him on the Rachael Maddow show? Can't really have the VPs support while distancing yourself from the president can you?

5. In Delaware you can, yes

Joe Biden's popularity in Delaware has nothing to do with Obama.

Joe beat Christine for this same seat 65-35 in 2008. This election is for the remaining four years of that Senate term.

Delawareans were voting for Joe Biden before Barack Obama had pubic hair.

2. It's a blue state.
Went 60-40 for Obama in 2008, gave him 250,000 votes.

The Crazy Jesus Lady won 30,000 votes in a closed Republican primary.

It's irrelevant whether Obama goes, doesn't go, sends Biden, or sends Bo the Portuguese Water Dog.

Coons by 15.

3. If that's from Razzy then the real number is 60-65%.
Coons will want Obama's help.
