...ALL need to go. This is the stupidest discussion about education I have ever heard. How embarrassing! TFA alum, charter rep, film maker and union rep...with cable news personalities.

They know a lot about this issue... geez.

1. They ARE catapulting the propaganda and doing it effectively
privatization is a done deal...

And in seventy years the reform will be to rebuild what is about to be privatized.

6. Among others
we are about to adopt the programs that oh Japan are abandoning for being ineffective in the 21st century. Information workers (which we are told is the future) need to be creative. This new system does not produce creative workers.

So while Japan moves forwards, and will keep improving.. we continue to lag behind. And this is ON PURPOSE...

...to the conversation. And Joe is trying to get them all to agree on a solution to fixing public education.

Even if they do agree...how can that be good??? :7

7. Does Michelle Rhee have a press agent?
She is the most televised superintendent in history.

10. What is that pin on Randi's lapel?
Is she doing a Sarah Palin thing wearing a lapel pin? :puke:

13. I don't know, but I feel kind of bad for her...
...because the others are using her for a punching bag. Teachers need representation that can say what needs to be said here, instead of trying to appease both sides.

16. Randi is not bad at the PR game.
I appreciate her calm demeanor. She also says all the right things.

12. Oh great. Now Michelle is dissing Randi.
Like that helps.

Randi - great comment. She tells Michelle this isn't about adults, it's about kids.

Good for you, Randi. Also high fives for not standing up, walking over and slapping the shit out of Michelle. I know I would have wanted to.

17. It's actually the only thing I really like about her
I've met her and talked to her face to face. I like her better at a press conference. :)

18. The DC voters did earlier this month.
It was awesome. Now Duncan is haranguing the presumptive mayor-elect to not fire her with extreme prejudice while his supporters (myself included) are calling to let him know it's a non-negotiable for us that she get the boot.

Hey Michelle, don't go away mad...just leave. You can keep the bonus mayor baldy gave you...just leave. You're not wanted here...please leave.

15. I'd like to sue "Geoffrey Canada" for copyright infringement
Because Canada stands firm for PUBLIC education and support of teacher's unions.

He's besmirching our good name.
