Host’s Choice

Outstanding in the Field by ManiacJoe

Jethro_tull was the winner of the last contest and therefore slated to be the host of this one, so he’s going to share his thoughts about the host’s choice, which was the second place winner.

“In this photo the theme is well represented and easy to identify. The narrow field of view turned this into an impressionistic painting, but the viewer still knows what he’s looking at. The rule of thirds places the focus in the upper right and leads the viewer across the frame. Very simple subject that evokes a sense of calm and peace. I like it!“
