To bring a vote on the tax cuts for the middle class, AND the tax increase on the richest fucking 2-3% of the people of this country, then we are lead by the party of LOSERS, corrupt morons!

If we are not voting on this right now, AS IN THIS FUCKING WEEK, then it is all over folks, taxes will NEVER be raised on anyone...Way beyond the politics of it, having the current lower tax rates in place is DANGEROUS for our country going forward.

5. Welcome aboard - as you can see poking fun at people making pronouncements
Mark you as a secret, board-invading freeper. I've been a secret freeper for years; you get used to it after a while.

9. Please ignore the personal attacks. You'll find, though,
that sarcasm is often a poor tool to use in these threads. Instead, try arguing the points with facts.

12. As long as I've been here, I've found them very effective.
Sarcasm has it's place, though, and I use it sometimes.

6. WOW, someone just reminded me that Reid could lose, then what he wants in the lame duck
session is really not relevant...And maybe more important, Senate seats in places like Colorado will need to be filled right away (GOPers are leading), not in January, meaning there will never be a vote to increase taxes.

7. It shows there is truly no real concern for our country only their jobs..
It is because of those tax cuts...ALL of them that America has piled up our National Debt... Remember when Bush* came to Office we were paying down our Debt and had annual Surpluses on our Budget....We did not need Tax Cuts........They were not in america's best interests and they are not now in America's interests. They are only in politician's interests...

There's far more to it than you are noticing.

14. We don't, as it turns out have huge majorites, since large numbers of Ds prefer to vote with the Rs
and apparently Reid and Pelosi can't persuade them to be actual Democrats for the sake of the country. If we actually had 60 reliable Dem votes in the Senate, then we could proceed. But this was never true. So if you want a change, go to the party meetings and insist on real Dems, NO BLUE DOGS.
No promises there, because the system has been fucked so long it won't be easy to fix (maybe impossible)

But we can't be blamed for doing nothing with a huge majority WE NEVER REALLY HAD.

Very powerful forces have secretly decided to kill our democracy. They are winning.

15. absent congressional action, taxes go UP on everyone
1st of the year. so, inaction is arguably the best course for the deficit.
