Democrats may attack Rove in ads

A senior Democratic strategist said Monday that the party could release campaign ads in some targeted congressional districts attacking Karl Rove and his ties to a new conservative group, American Crossroads. Rove, a former senior adviser to President George W. Bush, is helping to lead the new cash-flush group.

Democrats have been testing Rove's popularity, and he "continues to be unpopular with the Democratic base" says the Democratic strategist. The political spots presumably would remind voters that Rove is still a campaign presence for Republicans, particularly given his involvement with what the Democratic strategist calls "a secretly funded corporate campaign."

American Crossroads, which is funding both GOP ads and a get-out-the-vote effort, was created, according to Republicans with knowledge about the group, out of dissatisfaction with the performance of the Republican National Committee among some GOP political elites. Says one senior GOP-er, the organization is "trying to make up for what the RNC hasn't done."

1. I hope so! We cannot allow KKKarl Rove's dirty tricks to steal yet another election!
Remember: if it's close, it's close enough for them to steal. We know the stakes and they are high!

KKKarl Rove's fat ass should be rotting in a jail cell somewhere, not doing his usual racist dirty tampering of elections!!! :puke::puke:

12. He and the rest of the Bush administration
should all be in jail! This would include Rumsfeld, Cheney, Rice, Bush, Alberto Gonzales, et al.

5. Tell the Spineless Noodles unless they take their thumbs out of
their mouths and do a full throat attack on the Republican
Party, just do not bother.

Rove is not in office and it is a waste of time.

Not that many people even know who Rove is.

6. So the Republicans voted against
health care for 9/11 forst responders, and against pay raises for soldiers and they "fillibustered" the defense budget vote so they could try to keep gays out of the military... but Dems are going to run ads about Rove...

Why not just throw in the fucking towel. If you aren't even going to try...

7. To attack actual Republican politicians and their votes wouldn't be bipartisan..
Republicans might get angry and say nasty things about Democrats..

We couldn't have that.

8. Obama's record has enough merit on its own.
We don't have to focus on some guy from an administration years ago.

10. Why?
Seriously, what is the point? He's not running for anything. He's not working directly for the RNC. Most Americans couldn't even tell you who the fuck he is.

This is more of the typical being afraid to pick a fight shit we always see out of Democrats. We had 8 years of shit under Bush and almost two years of pure obstruction and yet Democrats are still afraid to punch back.

11. LOL
Surely this MUST be The Onion.
Nobody would be stupid enough to waste money campaigning against someone who isn't running for anything?
