Why is Joe Arpaio endorsing non-Arizona candidates?
Joe Arpaio, America's Worst Sheriff, has endorsed Raul Labrador, the repuke who's running against Walt Minnick in Idaho's 1st Congressional District. Has the corrupt bastard done the same in your district?

1. I think he's being groomed for political office.

3. How old is he?
Groomed for political office? Shouldn't he be getting measured for a shroud or a pine box?

8. He's 78 years old
According to his Wikipedia page, he was born June 14, 1932.

BTW, how many escapes per year does Arpaio get from his tent jail?

15. Remember Mo Udall, remember Mo Udeall, remember Mo Udall.
I frequently chant that to myself when Joe pops his ugly pimple in the m$m.

4. I don't think so...
If those two were to run together, it would be Arpaio/Palin rather than Palin/Arpaio.

I THINK he's going to run for president, but he will pick someone who's not a complete blithering idiot to run as his veep--Romney, maybe? Sad to say, that would be a very, very hard ticket to beat: Sheriff Joe on illegal immigration, Romney on economics.

6. Joe wouldn't have a chance.
He's fiscally irresponsible - wasting millions in vendettas and harassing investigations against those who've challenged him. He's ineffective - city police departments have more arrests and warrants cleared than his department. All he does is stir up trouble.

13. That Joe is fucking worthless as a cop isn't the point
The freepers THINK Joe is the reincarnation of Buford Pusser, and that would make shit real hard on the rest of us.

Reality: Officer Barbrady is a better cop than Joe Arpaio.

16. Yup, most A mericans aren't as deluded, nor as abundant, as the
wretched nutjjob voters of Maricopa County.

(Again with my sanity chant: "Mo Udall, Mo Udall, Mo Udall"--it works!)

7. To feed his massive ego
maybe get some campaign donations for himself, some kickbacks. There are investigations ongoing by the DOJ. I think Joe's in trouble.

11. Better question: Is there any state where he has NOT given an endorsement?
A few Sheriff Joe endorsements I can think of: Republican 10th Congressional District candidate Joe Malone in MA, GOP Secretary of State candidate Kris Kobach in KS, GOP challenger for Dem Pep. Walt Minnick's House seat, Raul Labrador, in ID...

Keep in mind, though, that Arpaio's endorsemnts in the CA GOP primaries proved to be the kiss of death:

Joe Arpaio's Candidates Steve Poizner, Bill Hunt, Jay LaSuer All Lose Big-Time in California

It's official: Joe Arpaio's endorsement is worth squat beyond the confines of Sand Land, particularly when we're talking about California.

All of the politicians Arpaio plugged, campaigned for, raised money for, or just had a kind word for went down in flames in California primary and local elections yesterday.
