I have seen the bay Area come together as never before over the World Series. Forget what the tourist boards and the History Channel tell you: this is a divided, segregated, liberal and conservative area. The Giants being in the Series has united us in a way that I honestly don't know how else could have been done. Please do not politicize the Giants.

To bring a World Series win to San Francisco. The last win was 1954, I believe, in New York. Giants have been to the WS three times, since they moved out West. The Giants lost in 1989 to the Oakland A's during the "Earthquake Series", lost to the Anahiem Angels in 2002. As some people say, Third time is the Charm.
