"If the country needed me — and I'm not saying that the country does"
Edited on Mon Nov-01-10 06:38 AM by IDemo
While acknowledging she was enjoying private life, the former governor said she would be happy to step back into electoral politics. "You know, the country is worth it, though, to make those sacrifices, when we talk about making money today, having a lot of fun today, having all this freedom," she said. "If the country needed me — and I'm not saying that the country does and that the country would ever necessarily want to choose me over anyone else, but I would be willing to make the sacrifices if need be for America."

1. I used to say that too, until I saw what clowns are probably going to win elections this year.
People in this country would vote for Charles Manson if he had a few catchy slogans to recite.

7. As much as insanity seems to reign now...
...realisticaly, she wouldn't have a prayer. The GOP would try to kill her in the primaries rather than see a guaranteed loser candidate become their nominee.

The media, and the public, would LOVE to see her in the mix, just for the entertainment value. Some decry our fascination with her here at DU, but having this ditz in the spotlight for the GOP is something that a lot of us really LOVE. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

Of course, we all know she'd quit half-way through the campaign. Victimized, once again, by the lamestream Liberal media. :)

2. The country DOES need you!
You are a major source of entertainment for the majority of Americans. Where else can you see someone that incredibly stupid and get a laugh at the jokers who think "Mama Grizzly" is presidential material (and we haven't even mentioned Tawd).

4. Ya'd Think She's The "Great White Hope"...
Sheesh, the way the corporate media fawns over Mooselini you'd think she'd served several terms as governor and loaded with all the skills and experience to run this country. Is this nation that stupid? Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

8. Oh give me peace! What sacrifices?
Sarabou does not do sacrificing....good grief she couldn't 'sacrifice' more than 18 months to an office for which she was elected. Just ranting here. Sarabou is a simpleton and doesn't realize the difference between fantasy and reality.
