. . .cable TV sucks and while both Ed and Keith are two of the best in that medium, the medium sucks and there are part of it.

You will notice Rachel and Lawrence O'Donnell loved it, I think the main reason is they don't take themselves as seriously as Schultz and Olbermann.

I'm listening to Ed spending well over 55 minutes on it the day before the most important midterms in history. We on the left and the talking heads we support need to be able to take criticism, especially when that criticism comes from someone on their side on most of the issues.

Also, those who love all three please do not feel like you have to choose sides, at the end of the day they are all fighting for the same thing.

8. I'm not listening (I'm at work), but I can see how Ed & KO would feel

ill used by having themselves lumped in with the Limbaughs of the world. After all, I didn't see Limbaugh out there putting together free health clinics as did KO & Ed. I've never heard a RWer apologize for outlandish lies they spew, while both Ed & KO will issue a mea culpa if they get something factually wrong, or if they mis-characterize something.

There are differences, and they're not subtle differences.

On the other hand, Stewart does march to his own drummer, and KO and Ed are both obvious partisans. All this dust up means is that Stewart will miss out on some free positive play from Ed & KO while Stewart's audience will be treated to footage that proves Jon's point.

Jon Stewart would feel ill used were he lumped in with Limbaugh, or even KO, for that matter. Yet one could just as easily do so. After all, they're all big media stars in the political wars, aren't they?

It was wrong of Stewart to suggest that the guys on the left are equally noxious as those on the right. Clearly, Stewart was intent on bending over backwards to be unbiased and treat both sides equally. However, it is simply unfair to paint both sides with the same brush when one side (the Right) is guilty of lies and fear-mongering and the other side (the Left) is not.
