This is one of those horrible gerrymandered districts straddling two counties to ensure rethugs continue holding the seat. Calvert is a crook and Bill Hedrick is a good progressive and terrific candidate. Wish I could vote for him.

2. Ken Calvert (my congressman, sadly) is one of the most corrupt in Congress.

and his district has enough OC in it to keep him just ahead of the opposition. Frustrating.

Hedrick's campaign is the first Democratic campaign to have field offices in the OC. We didn't in 2008, which is why they only got 49% of the vote overall against Calvert. However, because they are campaigning in the OC, I guarantee that if you help them get out the vote tommorrow, we will win this for the Democrats!
