If Bernie Sanders owned a baseball team, wearing a uniform from that team to the polls can easily be seen as showing support for him. It's a matter of showing support for an entity that is owned/run by a political candidate on the day people are voting for or against that candidate, and is pretty pointless anyway.

I think they shouldn't be allowed to wear the shirts, regardless of the DOJ not agreeing with me.

7. The letter says that the WWE cannot give out merchandise.
It doesn't mention the wearing of the shirts.
