I voted a straight Dem. ticket last Wednesday...deep in the heart of TX.

5. About 7:30 AM, hot cup of coffee in hand,

I shall walk to my neighborhood polling place and exercise my right to help decide a bunch of shit.

6. Voting in the a.m.

I tried to early vote on Saturday but got to the BOE a couple of minutes late - they were just locking the doors. (It's a 30 - 35 minute drive and taking a 3 year old with me... makes it more like a 60 minute adventure... lol)

It worked out well tho, I had a $20 check to Kohls so we shopped and went out to eat.

7. I voted early last week

and will try again tomorrow. I live in the Chicago area :)

9. Our state (PA) does not have early voting.

10. Marta and I mailed our ballots in last Tuesday

They were checked in (received) on Wednesday.

11. Got up early so we can vote on the way out of town.

This will be the first time in our new district. Sad that I can't walk to vote anymore, but we FINALLY sold our old house last week so :bounce:.

12. I voted a few weeks ago, but I don't think it counts as "early" when

the whole state gets their ballot a few weeks before election day. We all have a wider window.

I hate not voting early because with a family and job something can waylay me at any moment and keep me from the polls.
