A few Charlie Cook quotes - "Obama tackled health care and the public was screaming for a focus on the economy - so Obama should take some blame".

Bullshit. The public was firmly behind health care until the media told them that they shouldn't be.

Another Cook gem - "Independents are disappointed that there wasn't more bipartisanship - and I suppose that Republicans hold some of the blame".

SOME of the blame? And this is a supposed independent pollster? This is revisionist history. There is so much more...but it is just pissing me off and I can't write more about it right now. I would recommend that people watch this on line if not live, if only to reinforce what Democrats, liberals, progressives are up against. The deck is stacked.....with $$$$$.

with the stimulus and we all know that more stimulus was needed but it would never have passed congress. So what was he going to to do after the stimulus passed congress just stop making further advancements in others areas?
