Was off today and it was the first time I've ever voted in the morning in my 30 years of voting (am an early worker and am normally at work way before polls open, so I normally vote after work).
The poll workers were cracking about - "Wow, you're early today"!
I was #11 wih a #12 waiting after me in my division (polling place). Not sure how that is for a turnout so far but I know that for my division, "heavy" turnouts during a general election tend to be in the 200s by 5 pm, and light turnouts/primaries tend to be in the low 100s by that same time. Each voting division represents ~500 - 1000 folks and am not sure about what after work surge might happen today through to 8 pm when the polls close. Hoping folks do wake up and hit the polls. Sestak depends on it (I think Onorato is toast unless people hit the straight ticket).
Will see how things are going later this a.m. when I take my mother to go vote at a different division in the city.
