And free popcorn as well.

Having worked in the film industry for years...
let me tell you something, giving out free tickets to a "premiere" to anyone else other than the press, is never a good thing. The film and or star power should be the draw.

They are desperate to get butts in the seats.

her "star" is fading very fast.

3. It's a TV show, not a movie

6. I am aware of that...
(The term "film industry" is a catch all phrase for anything media oriented, accept for News)

It's still not a good sign.

given her supposed "star power", they shouldn't have be giving away free tickets.

This means there was a failure on several fronts, either: promotion, general marketing and, more than likely, a colossal misreading of her ability to draw a crowd.

4. I had to program TLC out of my remote
it was advertising her show twice in the same commercial and in every commercial. I got sick of it.
