is that no matter WHO takes control of the House, most Americans won't know it. I honestly don't think they know that the Dems currently control Congress.

7. Sorry, but it's election day. There are freepers everywhere trying

to discourage people or just flat out PREVENTING people from voting today. Seeing the wrong date posted on DU just didn't look right to me so I had to speak up about it.

The point, however, is that I don't think most people in the country even KNOW who controls Congress. Which is very scary.

9. I think you're right. The bonehead Illiterati won't know on the 3rd.

They won't know through December.

They won't notice anything until maybe early February when the impeachment proceedings start against Obama & maybe they'll feel vaguely discontented without knowing why through the next year, when no progressive legislation gets passed, when the controls on the insurance companies (e.g. no prior condition exclusions, coverage of kids to 26, 85% of premiums to actual health care, etc.) get eliminated while the mandatory buy-ins remain.

I'm sure that they will see it as only fair to privatize Social Security because government has bungled it so badly.

I'm sure they will understand that there is nothing you can do about sunspots anyway, so the ever-crazier weather is just beyond human control.

And of course stem cell research is evil.

You're right. They may not notice any differences. Life will get harder for 95% of people, but not all at once, so they may not notice. Or if they do, they will no doubt be thankful when Glenn Beck Rush Limbaugh explain how it's all due to Obama's socialist policies.
