Poll question: Should money given to military have any limitations on its useage?
I say yes indeed. I am tired of the money appropriated/appointed to military being used to make the War Machine people richer. I am tired of that money being used to harm others and manipulate people, etc.

3. Our Sacred Cow military successfully resists any restraints.
They have an endless supply of terrifying Bogeymen to frighten the politicians and public with to keep us paying them off.

5. heck yes, imho
It's significant. We must change the zeitgeist. If we can reduce defense / military spending by just 20% we can get our economy on a stronger track. It has to come from voters. I talk about this with friends. Peace and prosperity is where it's at for a healthier society.

6. I'd like to see more spent on positive community relations than bombing them
Seems the best way to ensure any sort of security is to figure out what people need and how to help them get it rather than trying to kill everyone who wants to kill you and in the process hurting so many more.
