Voting Straight Democratic is not equal to voting against ALL republicans.
For the first time in my life I voted a STRAIGHT DEMOCRATIC TICKET, but then noticed about ten races had republicans without a democratic challenger. So instead of casting a non-vote in those elections I voted for 3rd party candidates, ANYONE but republicans!!!

Always remember when voting to REVIEW all of your choices very carefully before casting your ballot. Make sure you voted FOR democrats and AGAINST every republican. Republicans are not fit to govern in any capacity in government.

1. If there's no-one else on the ballot, write in your own name!
:)

2. I don't know if it helped.
When there was an unopposed Republican only I filled in the write in bubble, but didn't write anything in.

3. I usually write in a name
something like Kaptain Kangaroo or Edward Scissorhands. I would in all honesty vote for either of those rather than a Republican.

4. LOL, 'Edward Sissorhands'!
That was such a great movie! Johnny Depp is an awesome actor. Loved him in all of his roles, especially the offbeat ones like in 'Benny and Joon'.

5. Edward Scissorhands has more sense and compassion
in one of his little, scissor fingers than any Republican on the ballot. :)

I thought that movie would be really stupid but I finally watched and now it's one of my favorites, ever! So glad I watched it. He's a great actor. Also loved What's Eating Gilbert Grape and really just about everything he's ever been in.

6. The story in ES was very moving.
You're right about the right. Sometimes I wonder if they are capable of feeling empathy.

7. We have "non-partisan" races here
but I do my research, and never vote for republicans.
