IF the GOP should prevail, it will be hilarious to watch them implode. Rand Paul is already
saying that he will challenge Mitch McConnell. Bachman is confused about whether she wants to caucus with the teabeggars or the rethuglicans. It will be a circus. Tickets are now available.

18. LOL!!!
"Operation Chaos" was their invention to try to weaken the Democrats. It will be ironic and absolutely hilarious if it comes back around and causes their own implosion.

You know, people think the Democrat's "big tent" differences in opinion is a detriment. But, dang, it's downright lethal in the GOP.

he wants to get together with other "like-minded winners. Calling himself a winner already, huh?Doesn't sound like he wants to play with the good old boy rePukes.
TeaBaggers are going to stir up some shit and give McConnell fits.

4. These T-Baggers talk a good game about reducing military spending and less
empirism abroad, as if they were paleo-conservatives. I will flat out faint if any of them do even one thing, hell even one speech on the floor of either House along these lines. My point being I think they are full of BS on this subject. Would love for them to prove me wrong though.

Rand Paul is a corporatist through and through
He will fit right in with McConnell - IF he wins, and I'm a little afraid he might just squeak through.

3. I've said it before and will again...
Not
Going
To
Happen
Never

They (the "outsider" teabag candidates) are going to get their taste of power and realize that power comes at the cost of going along to get along. And they will. Happily and without question.

They will not rock the boat and there will not be an implosion and there will not be a civil war. The only thing there will be is more party line republicans in both houses.

17. Don't know about that.
Some of us remember the last 'young turk' takeover in the Republican party, when there were more than a handful of moderate Republicans, and even a few hold-out liberal Republicans - then Gingrich & crowd came in and pushed out the old guard, moving their party farther to the right.

Even if the teapartiers don't take full control, they WILL move the Repubs farther to the right. There will be screw ups, on the lines of Delay's corruption and ousting, but overall the result will be a further radicalization of their party.

The current 'old guard' did NOT just fit into the party structure - neither will the incoming radicals.

Trust me.

6. Lest we forget - before they tried to oust the Dems, they ousted the Republican incumbents.
These people are not tried and true Republicans - they have done and will continue to do untold damage to the Republican establishment.

7. People are still fooling themselves about teabaggers.
They're just fucking Republicans. They're going to caucus with Rs, cooperate with Rs, work hand in hand with other Rs, and in general be good little freshmen Republican congressmen because that's precisely what they are.

8. They certainly aren't going to caucus with the Dems lol.
But I don't think they are reliable to the old schools Reps either.

9. It might be interesting
More dysfunction. I am curious to see if the Teabaggers who win fall into line as the GOP will want/expect them to. With a party that has moved in complete lockstep in both houses for two years, it will be a shock if the renegades actually shake things up. A shake up is well deserved but I will be surprised. The other curiosity will be how they deal with having to actually govern if they 'get their country back' (at least the country House). Will they just throw bombs for two years or will they attempt to do something constructive.

10. Yea

It will suck at first....we'll have hand-wringing, Dems moving to the right, celebration by the lunatic righties..

but then they'll awake from their slumber and find themselves in Congress with (gasp) people who don't think exactly like them. They'll need to work together, govern, compromise, be statesmen...

But we know what will happen and it will be a total implosion.

23. Sure we have
This country has survived a civil war that killed 600,000 people. Brothers fighting brothers - our country literally being torn apart. We'll survive. I love this country, warts and all and think we can overcome bad Presidents.

16. If they prevail, I'm for whipping the Teabaggers into a fine froth
by encouraging their lunacy. Perhaps when the vast silent inattentive have suffered serfdom long enough, they'll get off their collective ass and start standing up.
