Poll question: Do you believe in your heart (as I do) the polls are WRONG?
Yes for hope, no for fear, choose wisely. Maybe then the Repukes will cooperate......Nah just kidding, they would still try to screw America.

2. Don't blame me, I voted for KITTEH.
Every poll result comes with a stated margin of error, which itself may or may not be accurate. The only poll that matters is the election itself.

I never sweat pre-election polls, and I'm not easily freaked out by exit polls.

5. i generally don't trust the polls very much. they are all over the place.
and also there is a whole group that isn't acocunted for in the polls who are cell only... and i am one of them. don't get me wrong. i enjoy not being bothered by these people, but I feel it skews any poll that cell only voters are not counted in these polls.

Who answers their land lines? Well, I do 'cause I am old and stay at home lots. But, everyone around me is cell phoning. No one stays home but the old folks. That could be our only hope for this election. One must find something to hang on to. And, of course, no one polls me?? What's funny is that I heard on the news yesterday that Okla. has more registered Dems??

And, I voted down all the questions concerning our constitution, including the one concerning Sheria(sp?) law. Lordy, I figure since our legislature is controlled by repubs I voted them all down if it was ambiguious which means I left one unanswered.

7. The false polls make an excellent cover story for the Stolen Votes.

If the Powers that Be can hack eleven separate phone lines across New Hampshire, they can definitely steal California. (Yes, California. Bowen is a wonderful woman handling the issue, but she is one person with one department in a state of 37 million people, many of them living in Counties where the many charming Registrars of Voters are more corrupt than Satan himself.)

9. Mesmerized by the cute kitty, what was the question again?
Oh, the polls. They might be really off this year. Depends on if the Dems still vote even if they are not as enthusiastic.

10. They are never that far off...
But all this "end of the world" crap is just that crap. The Repugs will take the house by a few seats, the Dems will hold the Senate. Nothing will get done for the next two years. THe Repugs will spend their time investigating Obama and the Dems will sit back and watch. Woo hoo.

23. Ah, you give me hope
You sure about the senate? I've been watching too much tv and it is pure doom and gloom. Too many damn Dems are too classy to make big ugly noises to get their way. They think they can politely ask repubs to be reasonable(?) and compromise.

16. I think the "likely voter" model is out of whack in some of these things. Also the MOE never gets
discussed by the pundits when they report these things.

"Candidate X is ahead of Candidate Y by 3 points" But the margin of error is 3.5 points, plus or minus.

Love that kitten, I also think the polls are the written recipe not the meal. First thing I do with a recipe is look for where it needs changing.

22. Yes, I believe the "eggspurts" are wrong on this one.
Turnout is very heavy at my polling place. And I think that means bad news for Rethuglicans, the corporate media, and the pollsters. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

25. Kitteh.
Not because I like cats.

Just because I wanted to vote today (I did the early voting "thang" last week), but "not believing the polls are right" is far from the same thing as "not believing the polls are wrong."

(I keep confusing my kid when he exhibits entirely black and white thinking by saying he can only label something "black" or "white," then showing him a green CD case and asking him to name the color. He gets it. A minute later he loses it, of course, but these things take time.)
