Optical ballot scanner jammed at Leadmine precinct in Raleigh, NC.

A beeping noise went off and they had to open the machine and remove the ballots and the ballot jammed. Three judges watched election officials. Should I report it to the party?

they were amazed at the turnout.

What struck my wife and I were the number of people passing out Repub voting guides...and not a one handing out Dem guides. A bit depressing - but our area of N Raleigh is quite red.

4. i voted at the calvary church

on ray road. at 3:15 pm i was number 394. no electioneering going on there - well there were two people outside but they didn't approach me. i don't know if they represented a party.

i was hoping to see a higher number, but like you, i recognize the area as red. from the day i registered voters outside the harris teeter on strickland and ray in 2008. it sucked going back to obama hq with 3 republicans, 1 independent, and only one democrat!
