State Police spokesman Dave Wilson said Kathy Welch of Hanson, was spotted by state trooper Tom Joyce taking the Nyman sign on Tuesday morning, Nov. 2.
In an interview later Tuesday morning,
Wilson would not confirm whose lawn the sign was taken from, but he did confirm that police did find a Nyman sign in the front seat of Kathy Welch’s vehicle.According to Wilson, Joyce pulled Welch over for speeding and gave her a citation. Whether or not she will face additional charges such as larceny is still under investigation, Wilson said.
