OMG! I Voted for a REPUBLICAN !!

The Republican party were such scumbags during the Clinton impeachment that I vowed never to vote Republican again, not even for my next door neighbor if he ran for dogcatcher. Imagine my chagrin when I got home this morning and realized that I'd voted for a REPUBLICAN!!

This morning I noticed that two people were running unopposed for minor offices, as candidates on both the Republican and Conservative lines. I knew that any write-in candidate has to be a real person, not Batman or Rocky the Flying Squirrel. So I wrote in LISA MURKOWSKI for both offices, pleased with myself that I'd spelled her name correctly.

When I got home, I remembered . . . OMG! Lisa Murkowski is a Republican! Can I ever forgive myself? It won't happen again, I'll tell you that. Next time I'll have the name of a generic Democratic write-in candidate. Maybe Howard Dean. Is Dan Rostenkowski still alive?
