Angry voters find it difficult to reach the polls in Easton

Voters were upset because the consolidation of six precincts at a single polling location, combined with high school classes in session, made it a challenge to reach the parking lot, never mind to cast a ballot.
“The parking is horrendous. Look at this. This is pathetic,” said Carol Leonard, a Precinct 6 resident who voted in the past at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Foundry Street.
As Leonard spoke, both Town Clerk Jeremy Gillis and Selectman Chairman Colleen A. Corona worked to direct traffic alongside police officers.
Corona said the issue of having all six precincts vote at a single location will be the top item on the next selectmen’s agenda.
