Apparently the lovely Congresswoman from MN (should she be re-elected) wants Mike Pence's job in the GOP Leadership. Pence(IN) is thought to be stepping down in order to concentrate on putting together a Presidential Campaign for 2012. Pence's current job? Chair of the House Republican Conference.

Now what does this position entail you ask? Well it's The organizational body for all GOP Members of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The conference is responsible for electing the House Republican leadership, approving GOP Member committee assignments, managing leadership-driven floor debates, and executing a communications strategy to the public.

It's #3 in leadership positions. Rahm held it after the 2006 campaign.

Think about this one for just a moment. One of the most incoherent, idiotic, right wing nutcases in Congress out on the TV on a daily basis bringing all things Republican to the masses...
