I voted republican today

at least in one of the Wisconsin races. Our incumbent sheriff in Milwaukee county is a character named David Clarke. He runs as a democrat but is a disgusting little right winger in disguise. He's done a terrible job as sheriff. So, I voted for his republican opponent (whose name escapes me at the moment) who is an altogether more moderate and competent guy. I have been voting since 1968 and have occasionally voted for republicans , Chuck Percy and Ed Brooke for example. This is the first time in a long while I have done so. I feel very good about it though.

I met him once. He had a relative in a Long-term-care facility I worked in. Pleasant enough, but I hate that he's AG.

In my area,the County Commissioners and the like are pretty good about dropping the party when they are elected.

because I wanted to vote AGAINST the slimeball on the Dem ticket.
(Problem in these small towns is you know way too much about people, sometimes).

I voted "none of the above" for about 1/3 of the ticket.

Our Repug candidate legally changed his name to Dr. so he could run as Dr. Bentley.

I ended up voting for Clarke instead of Duckhorn....it pains me to say so because we all know the costume he wears. I am thoroughly disappointed that we didn't have the opportunity to vote for Moews in the general election.

18. I said in another thread never EVER vote a repub for a local race. Roy Blunt started local

and that corrupt asshat is about to become MO's next Senator--he started off as a county clerk.

If I can't vote Dem or I don't like the Dem, then I just skip that choice.
