So I'm watching the Soup... |

I was invited to a couple of different candidate party's tonight. Just don't have the desire.
I plan on watching the second installment of the new Sherlock Holmes and then turn back to watch the results...

1. The new Sherlock is great. |
|
Except I can't stop calling the actor who plays Sherlock Bartholomew Cubbins since I can't remember his real name. :)

I like the new Sherlock Holmes okay, but I really, really wish they'd do some more "Wallander."

I hardly think it's my faux pas. :P At least he can be pretty sure that no one else in SAG is gonna have that name.
It's also nice to see Martin Freeman get some more work. He was brilliant in The Office.
I've never seen Wallander. That was with Kenneth Branagh, right? Also a detective? A friend of mine just gave me the complete Prime Suspect series on DVD. Joy.

9. I've been through this so many times.... |
|
Every two years since 1976 I have been involved with campaigns in one way or another.
This year, I was with a judge and he won the primary and we didn't have an opponent in the general.
I kind of feel on the outside and not a part of it like I have in the past.
I guess this is what getting on in years does to you, makes you a little immune to the hyperbole.

to get the results from my district and bring them back to the local party headquarters. That's just the local race. Some of us will stay on to see the results of the rest of returns, others will go home to watch. We have one congressional seat at stake, and I'm quite sure we'll keep it.
