I usually post nonsense in the Lounge and I mostly feel like a fringe person here. But.....

...I'm loving the mood here tonight, as well as the passion for this election. For now at least, everyone seems to be connected and harmonious, even in spite of the odds and in spite of warnings of possible infighting and finger-pointing.

Which still could happen.

These are the times when DU either comes up big, or else falls flat into a huge nasty pit. For the moment, we have done a great job of expressing our fears, our relief, and our experiences.... with class and dignity and decency.

These are the best of times to be here, in my opinion, and I'm savoring the optimism.

Thanks to all of you. It seems like we are together tonight. For the most part.

I sure do hope it can last.
