11. Totally agree on this one. Exit polls showed that the economy was the top concern by far.

8. basically like poster above, economy sucks. maddow has a part 1 and 2 on dems accomplishments

these last couple years. they did a kick ass job. dems can not even appreciate. but no one recognizes all the dems did. we are all hurting, feel it and worry about the future.

9. No surprises. except that the tea party was not huge after all. The exit polls say "jobs" are the

top concern, and the numbers concerning Obama and health care are basically the same as before (split down the middle between dems and republicans). So it's the economy, etc. Not very creative, but I had to turn off the noise too. CNN was doing anything to make a story out of things, and it was very irritating.

14. As soon as it was obvious they couldn't pass real healthcare reform

when Rahm brought the insurance guys in and said "Mr. President before we do anything we have to promise them that there will be no public option" he should have fired Rahm, shelved healthcare reform, and immediately called for the repeal of NAFTA and for the creation of a new WPA.

16. That would have been awesome.

And I think it would have made a difference tonight. I think Rahm has a lot to answer for (and obviously will never answer) and you can see how shrewd he was to leave the scene before fingers started pointing at him.

Also, there are many who wanted to vote against the President and the President's agenda and saw voting for the Republicans as the way to do it.
