MSNBC reporting - we have lost the House.
Say hello to Speaker Boehner.

2012 can't come along soon enough. Good news is that the gridlock may help our chances then.

I would've rather held the house. Same old, same old two more years of girdlock as per usual.

14. Calling WVa for Manchin made it obvious the Senate was lost to Rs, so they had
to do something fast. :sarcasm:

12. Two scenarios come to mind for 2012...
1: the economy is so bad, power swings back to the Democrats

2: corporate control of Congress and our lives becomes absolute

16. let me be the first to congratulate the dems for managing to
piss away an unprecedented opportunity to move the country forward and eliminate the repuke party for good in just 2 years. How do you think that bipartisan crap will work now? I'm sure the Boner will be anxious and can't fricken wait to reach across the aisle and work with us now. (sarcasm)

24. Not the House Dems that did this.
I'd think the Senate would have deserved it, but the House didn't.

17. Well, most of us knew it was probably coming.
Meh... once again, I guess America will get what it's asking for. In this case, 2 years of shit.

Democracy can be painful when the people frequently insist on ignorance - but them's the breaks.

20. Did you vote? Did you vote? Did you vote?
You said you weren't going to earlier, and several of us gave you contact numbers. You are part of what asked for this if you didn't change your mind. Those are the breaks. Ignorance was not voting, even in a red state.

Signed,

Texas voter.
