10. Gridlock sucks, but it's better than two years of Repubs

17. And a double dip recession
States have been using stimulus funds to save their schools and universities from absolutely draconian budget cuts. Those will be cut off immediately. Following the election there will be MASSIVE layoffs at schools, universities and other state services.
