You know, I am just going to rant for a second. Well maybe not, I dont even think I have a rant left in me. I am just so damn dissapointed right now. Not just in the election, but I am just horrified when I know that the Rethuglicans are so good at being on message and in step that they will ram rod things through the house and will probably be able to shame the Dems in the Senate in to voting for whatever crackpot thing they decide to do. What's worse the president wont dare veto anything because Frank Luntz will think up some damning catch phrase for them to use that will accuse the Dems of hating America, the Troops and Mom and Apple Pie. Its November 2004 for me guys. I am going to take a couple of good strong drinks and just go the hell to bed.

I don't think it is 2004 all over again and I think the dems will backbone up a bit (God, I hope so!) I hope to hell they've learned a lesson here but I doubt it or they would already know it. This is history repeated - maybe a little less than '94 but still a repeat of the same stupidity.

Just remember that the repukes will do much less than actually govern. They will go into a masturbatory fantasy and issue subpoenas for every stupid jack-off fantasy they've ever had. They will do ZERO governing. Just grandstanding ass-clowns is what the house will become now.
