Too few candidates gave people a reason to vote FOR them, only reasons to vote AGAINST the other guy. WE NEED LEADERS ON THE NATIONAL LEVEL. Enough of this political expediency and self-preservation already. LEAD OR GET OUT OF THE WAY!!

1. Which proves negative campaigns work

Dems need to borrow some Rovian tactics.

doesn't work. Give people a real platform with real solutions to real issues and see what happens. The negative campaigns weren't just on the R side of the aisle.

4. We need a shorter election season with publicly funding so the ISSUES

are what gets discussed. Take all of the special interest money out of the picture entirely and lets get down to BUSINESS and stop all the popularity contests. Tell me what you are going to do, what your focus will be.
