1. clarification-- Prop 19 is not medical marijuana....
It's legalization and regulation for recreational use.

6. That has to be gerrymandered somehow. I cannot believe that many Californians would
vote AGAINST legalizing a little bit of weed.

Lock and load. Me too.

4. We've had medical MJ for some time.
Prop. 19 is for legalizing recreational MJ. Go to Secretary of State Debra Bowen's website. http://www.sos.ca.gov/ They put up the results there.

7. The medical marijuana issue just failed
badly here in South Dakota. In '08, it only lost by five percent, this time it's over thirty percent. Makes no sense, but hey, it's South Dakota.

The ban on smoking in restaurants, bars and other public places passed handily though, despite the screaming of business groups. Go figure.

8. Those business groups are full of it.
I think medical MJ is losing steam, while recreational MJ is gaining steam, which is how it should be, IMO.
