...were playing pirates in the basement of their home. The oldest one was taller and grabbed a vase off the shelf and threw it on the floor and broke it. Little did he know that his grandfather's ashes were in the vase.
Their mother was away on an errand and their father was busy working. When the mother returned, the oldest one, who broke the vase, ran to his mother to tell her that the youngest brother had broken the vase while they were playing. The youngest one told his mother that he did not break it, that it was the older brother that did it.
The mother believed the oldest boy and punished the younger one by taking his allowance and restricting him to his room for one month. She took the oldest one to the movie with her and they had popcorn and candy and watched a movie about pirates.
The moral of the story is that sometimes you get punished for things that you didn't do and the responsible Party gets rewarded. Much of it depends on who the mother believes...
