ms. huffington was on msnbc and said that the president mis-calculated because summer told him everything was going to be ok with the economy, so president obama pushed for healthcare. that was the first time I had heard that and if it is true then president obama screwed up big time.
once again it comes back to the simplest of things, it's the economy folks. (i didn't want to use stupid on du).
good night.

6. He won his 2nd term, and that news was out already. Gore won, but it was too the Supremes |
|
threw a wrench in that, and even without the Supremes it was still too close for a good economy

11. It reminds me of a saying |

It's a recession if it hit other people and it's a depression if it hits you.

There is NOTHING Americans hate with a passion more than any kind of "welfare" (except corporate welfare), and sadly that is by no means limited to Repukes. I've even it seen it on DU more times than I like to recall.

12. Trade reform won't get fixed under corporate Dems |
|
Now forget it. Real Health Care Reform was off the table from the start. It was a joke and now the joke's on us. Repukes will keep the 'sick kids' bit and can the rest. It didn't help most folks anyway, bur forced us all to pay our Rx fealty.
