1. Actually, a few months too soon.
I'm sure Bush* wanted this to explode on his successor.

9. If he had gotten social security reform, with all of that money going to equities, the bomb wouldn't
have exploded on W's watch but a bit later.

2. Makes you wonder if picking Palin was really a "mistake."
I can't be the only one that has wondered about that.

5. TRUE but it happened long ago
why do you think they didn't give a shit that old coot mccain won the nomination?

the rich, the powerful, sucked all the money and life out of the economy, abetted with no regulation and under-the-table assistance.

leave the dems with no money....cool your heals...they'll be out in 4 years...we can take over and sap whatsoever left out again.

their only slip up was when the economy crashed a couple months before it was supposed to. the mystery is...how are they going to

straighten anything out? they can't either since they pushed it too far over the brink. selfish criminal bastards

14. Like he said, why would they wanna do that?
The Kochs and Waltons are raking in billions.

The unwashed unemployed masses (including the teabaggers who will find themselves abandoned soon enough) don't matter a whit to them.

11. Bush or Reagan?
I've got to blame Reagan more than W. And the conservatives tend to idolize Reagan more than W. They'd like to return to those heady days of 19% interest rates.

12. i don't agree, this election is president obama's fault.
Arianna huffington said last night that president obama listened to and believed mr. summers. that with the stimulus package passed the economy would be ok, so he pushed for healthcare, instead of focusing on jobs. if that is true, then basically that was president obama's "good job brownie" moment.
