Seeing as how we lost so many seats in Congress, I hope to hell that all the Blue Dogs went down. Now, wouldn't THAT send a message?!!

Jim Marshall is gone! Good riddance! That's what he gets for running against his base!

Dems lose a Blue Dog in AL-02. That means that 28 Blue Dogs have lost, 17 have held their seats. 11 still to be decided.

4. Allen Boyd but we got a Tea Bag instead
Or as close as he can be anyway. Steve Southerland. The most reputable thing he's ever done was run a funeral home.

11. But you know, Boyd had actually been voting more Democratic
The last year or so. And that is what Southerland hammered him on in the ads: "Boyd voted with <gasp> Pelosi <horrors> XX number of times!" Frankly I was surprised at how often Boyd HAD voted with Pelosi.

Our local races are mixed - the state legislators from my district went mostly to the Democratic candidates, but we lost our great county commissioner, who has been a stalwart against development and for environmental concerns. What hurts is that he lost to a former football player asshole who has never before voted or been registered to vote until he decided to run for office. And he is totally in the pocket of the developers.

6. NY 20 BlueDog
Scott Murphy

This is Mr.Proud to vote more with the GOP.
Started sounding oh so progressive while campaigning though. Didn't work this time. He had a lot of trouble getting volunteers.
