Florida Gov race might be headed to recount -- Sink and Scott lawyer-up
Breaking: War Breaks out in Florida as recount in Gov race likely!

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2010/11/3/916434/-Breaking:-War-Breaks-out-in-Florida-as-recount-in-Gov-race-likely!

This is a quick diary.

Today I worked for the Sink's Legal Protection Team in Florida. For most of the night Scot's lead has ranged between 3 and 5 points. As I wrote in my diary yesterday (I am not breaking the rule) Repugs always lead until the very end, when South Florida comes in. Tonight Scott's lead is well under 2 points, and there are significant number of ballots to count in Dade and Palm Beach.

It is now probable there will be a recount here, according to Foxnews in Tampa. After talking with Karl Rove, George Bush dispatched a group of lawyers to monitor the canvassing board in both Palm and Dade.

I am sorry, I just entered a time Warp. I meant to say Rick Scot has dispatched lawyers. I can say from personal knowledge we are ready for them. The Sink campaign has lawyers in both counties at the canvassing board.

Time to lawyer up, because if there is a recount it will be absolute war here.

1. Good - I wish Sink had won outright, but at least we still have a chance!

7. Also,
We'll get to check those Republican counties to see if they counted properly.

8. Probably not.
Republicans wrote the recount rules. They will do a machine recount (op scan) and then a hand count of only the undervotes and overvotes.

2. I'm looking at MSNBC
It shows next to no votes counted from Calhoun County (I'd assume overwhelmingly Scott, but not many people). About 6% uncounted in Miami Dade, and 1% uncounted in Broward and Volusia -- which went for Sink. Who knows?

6. I've been referring to this website,
click on Florida for the grand totals, then click on the state again to see the breakdown per county.

5. Do you have any idea what the ballots look like in the Dem counties?

Also, recounts have to include all the counties as determined by Bush v. Gore.

I want to see how a Republican controlled Florida explains why it is that Democratic and Republican counties have different styles of voting, (assuming that's still the case.)
