1. Because they are done for the night, more or less

We have mail-in ballots which did not have to be posted till today, the day of elections. Half of King County (or slightly more) will be counted in the next couple of days. It is clear, however, that Murray won.

3. I wish I could agree with you...
I would say it's anything but clear that Murray won. She has a slight advantage right now, but there's still far too many votes out there, and it seems like there was a late-breaking Republican tide here that may show up in ballots postmarked in the last two days or so.

4. St. Louis county in Minnesota is the largest DFL (combined Democrat)
stronghold in the state. Why is it taking so long to count those returns and how come the republican is going back and forth with Oberstar who is one of the best like representatives in this state.

And I have said over and over watch out for Hennpin County. So guess what Dayton was leading with over 20K votes earlier and Hennpin said something about not uploading votes from their machines and Emmer came almost too close to Dayton. If Dayton can overcome the ERRORS IN HENNPIN COUNTY VOTING he will win. But that's were Franken almost got his senator seat taken from him. THEY ARE CROOKED AS HELL THERE. Back in Phewlenty's last (win?) the same thing happened.....Greene was leading til Hennpin got fudgy with the votes.
