I was thinking about moving South.....
Then I thought about moving west...

It looks like all paths leave to no where...

Perhaps Oregon or Washington...

9. A tent in mud season doesn't sound like much fun.

2. Both of those states are good places to live in.
Edited on Wed Nov-03-10 01:14 AM by CaliforniaPeggy
Especially if you live west of the Cascades. There's more rain and prettier scenery than in the eastern halves.

And the western parts of those states tend to be more liberal than the eastern.

I think (but I'm not sure) that the cost of living in Oregon isn't too bad.

On edit for geography mistake.

13. We kicked ass!
In New England, Eh?

Did you see the RI returns?

All major statewide offices- Dem, Governor - Chafee, both reps - Dem, our statehouse... 95% Dem. New England still a swath of b lue except for the two weirdos up in Maine, but whattaya gonna do with those Maine-ahs, anyway, right?

All sane people should move to New England. I am so glad I live here.

14. Yup. Vermont, CT, Mass and RI were all very, very blue tonight.
Edited on Wed Nov-03-10 02:22 AM by Jennicut
Waiting to see if Bridgeport puts Malloy over the edge for Governor. If he wins, we went all blue tonight in CT.
Honestly, I will never leave New England. I have no desire to see the rest of the country. Life is different here, isn't it? Maine and NH are a bit weird but the rest of New England is great.

4. If you want to move south...
...you might want to consider Ecuador. Cuenca seems to be quite a nice place, with a sizable U.S. expat community.

Moving south in the U.S...fugetaboudit!
