Anyone ever play team sports?
After a tough loss it was always similar. Some gave it their all and sat quietly, some others gave it their all and were pissed off and lashed out. Usually it was just one or two guys who went off, usually the same ones. In almost every case those bitching up a storm either didn't play, or played like shit but that didn't stop them from from pointing out all of the errors made by the others.

1. you got that right. Usually the biggest losers went out for pizza right away.

Now were you making an analogy to DU.

Me I get quiet and want to 'chew on a tire'.

3. Nah no analogy - was just thinking of some beatings I took
And the ones sitting quietly were usually going over every play in their heads trying to figure out what they could have done better. Just an observation.

4. The complexity of life and politics reduced to a non-specific sports analogy?
If I felt the reality of this terrible political situation could be reduced to a scene between Lou Grant and Mary Tyler Moore, I might be more inclined to agree.
