So, all a party has to do after losing an election is to stop
the wheels of government by saying, "No, No, No," and the loser party gets voted back into office.

The Republicans in Congress may have set a precedent that they will one day regret.

And we all know they are not, watch the complicity happen. If you're lucky you wont puke.

4. It has been the implicit goal of the monied elites to make this country ungovernable.
A functioning government does things that get in the way of the
ability of the monied elites to take the rest of the money, so
blocking the government's functioning has long been the goal
of the Republican Party.

Last night, I'm pretty sure they finally achieved that goal.

America has had a low-functioning government since December
12th, 2000 (and *CERTAINLY* since September 11th, 2001 when
the whole country reacted to a pin-prick by going into anaphylactic
shock). And now it has a government which, by design, cannot
possibly function. That was the goal all along, and now it is
accomplished.

And the 99% of us who aren't the monied elites will suffer
greatly for it.
