1. We'd rather have the "magic" of the free market and not have to
pay any taxes and still get everything we want.

7. Not to worry
That'll be one of the first things to go (Medicare), so they won't have to worry about kicking the gov't out of it.

9. I get your point - but there will always be the fox-devotee and there
will always be the Obama-can-do-no-wrong crowd.

It's that middle ground that was not communicated to in my opinion - those that really want things to get better - but do not necessarily see that things could have been a whole lot worse - and that status-quo for an extended time was progress. I don't think that message ever got out there. Sure, we heard it - but we wanted the Ds to succeed.

10. to reach the people uninterested, jsut seeing the economy is the shits.
people that dont pay attention. i am on du, and i cant remember all obama accomplished. perfectly, not even. but then, being a middle of the roader, i understand that roosevelt did not wave a wand, and kennedy did not wave a wand. both began at a beginning that wasnt enough. both time dems were attacked, and paid for what was accomplished. the same this time.

we are in a new world jobs are overseas. our economy is different. our social network is different, never to go back to the old. all those considerations cant be ignore, for one issue or point.

the only think i can see to help is regulation, regulation, regulation. and that will be another loss for dems. but what we need
