Poll question: How did you vote? Paper? Machine?

There was almost no mention of electronic voting machines this election, not even here on DU. Why?

1. I had a chance to vote on an electronic ballot but I said hell no!

Filling out the scanned ballot was longer, took up room space, was awkward with pens, screens and put your ballot in a folder for the volunteer's slight of hand(cross your fingers and hold your breath) to see if the scanner deigned to digest it into cyberspace mysteries. Stupidly clunky waste of money, causing necessarily larger delays, frustrations, fears and uncertainties we never experienced ever before.

A ballot measure demanding the backers of this chicanery be shot and the machines ground to powder would have past- but then the ballots would have to be counted by hand. Our NY Dems had better learn to fight this garbage off better than they have to date.
