Does anyone here really truly honestly think the "disloyalty of the far left" is to blame
or even played any relevant role in these elections? Really? No shit? I don't buy it, but I would really like to see that case made on a rational basis, with actual arguments, facts, statistics, rather than just claiming it to be true? Anyone?

1. The Democrats took the high road and lost. The shit-slingers won.
Happens a lot in life.

3. NO.
Sorry --- not willing to be the blame for this mess. Lay it where it belongs -- on the *bipartisan* wimpiness that got us mandated insurance payments and NO real *justice* about Wall Street.

5. Nope.
I don't blame intelligent, reasonable, well-informed people for this mess. Let's look at 'Citizen's United', first, and the corporately created and funded astroturf org that is the 'Tea Party'. Lots of money went into this election, as it always does, and in this country, most of the time you can buy your way into public office (God, that reminds me - I need to see if Murray survived...)

9. No.......
it was our Blue-Dog Democrats...many who are now going to be standing in an unemployment line....well not really but...they are not in DC after Christmas. I do believe our GOTV action for Progressive movement sat on the back burner...no enthusiasm for me....I just voted and supported 2 state and local candidates....thats it.......I felt used and discounted for all my sacrifice, work and money I donated to the Democratic Party during the Bush years...

10. I'm sure some here do believe that.

They won't flat out say it for a while.

And I am sure in a few days we'll see them blame the left in their own pathetically tactical way such as continuing to re-brand themselves "action liberals" (when they are the textbook definition of center-right and lets face it: rewriting definintions is a total RW tactic) or some other bag of bullshit.

Just a theory at this point.

12. I don't think disloyalty is per se to blame, but I think apathy of the left is obviously to blame

(at least partly). Just look at the turnout gap. You really can't seriously argue otherwise, unless you are going to prove that the turnout figures are factually wrong.
